Given the phenomenon of the growing Dragon’s presence in the World, it was only a matter of time that would see the formation of a 100% owned subsidiary of ENG in the Chinese financial hub city of Shanghai. The auspicious day of 17^th April 2007 saw the company get registered in Shanghai and commence business related activity. Due to the bureaucratic ways of Chinese government, the process of registration alone took almost 5 months.

 

Named ENG Business Consultancy Co., Shanghai, and headed by Zeekay the company COO, ENG China did not venture into the Media and the Outdoor businesses on the onset. In fact, the company was formed for providing Architectural and ID design services to the ever growing Real Estate market within China in addition to Signage Design consultancy. As an off shoot, a Procurement department was also formed with the sole purpose of procuring raw materials from China for the Sharjah production facility.

 

Today, the Shanghai office boasts of having a varied staff, made up of 4 nationalities, of almost 32 and is poised to grow over the next several months. The Archi/ID design department is headed by Mr. Alan Crawford, an Irish Senior Architect with years of experience with world renowned Architecture Design firms. While the departments of Signage Design and Procurement come under the directive of Ms. Grace Chou, a Taiwanese with experience in a variety of businesses from setting up of a computer chip factory for a German firm to running a Branding business in China.
